Inspection
I. Clean all parts
in
denatured alcohol or fresh
hydraulic fluid.
2. Inspect the body cylinder bore (."igu
re

surface
fo
r signs
of
wear and damage.
If
less than
perfect. replace the master cylinder assembly. The
body cannot
be
replaced separately.
3.
Inspect the body (

cracks. If less than perfect. replace the master
cylinder assembly. The body cannot
be
replaced

4.
Inspect the piston primary
or
secon

(A, Figure 24) for s

wear and damage.
Replace the piston assembly
if
either the primary
or
secondary c
up
requires replacement.
5.
Check the end of the piston (

wear caused by the hand lever.
If
worn. replace
the piston assembly.
6. Inspect the pivot hole (Fig

e 25)
in
Ihe hand
lever.
