• Tighten valve timing inspection plug
4 to the specified
torque.
# Valve timing inspection plug:
23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft)
RECOIL STARTER
• Temporarily install the recoil starter.
GEARSHIFT LEVER
• Install the shift lever position switch
1 and snap ring
2.
• Install the shift lever assembly
3 with the pin engaged with
the switch
1.
• Install the snap ring
4.
• Install the recoil starter.
• Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK “1342” to the bolts.
& 99000-32050: THREAD LOCK “1342”
• Install the gearshift lever
