BEVEL PINION GEAR SHAFT BEARING/LOCKNUT
• Drive the bearing onto the shaft with the special tool.
# 09913-70210: Bearing installer set
BEVEL PINION GEAR/SHIM [FINAL ASSEMBLY]
• Install the shims, pinion gear assembly and bearing lock-
nut.
• Tighten the new locknut to the specified torque.
# 09924-41830: Bearing locknut wrench
( Bearing locknut: 100 N·m (10.0 kgf-m, 72.5 lb-ft)
NOTE:
After the backlash and tooth contact have been checked or
adjusted, stake the nut with a center punch.
