1. Adjusting boom telescoping wire ropes
1.1 Adjusting boom telescoping wire ropes
1. Lower the fully retracted boom to horizontal.
2. Evenly tighten the adjustment nuts A (2 points) of
the 5th boom section extension wire rope, so that
the 5th boom section is slightly (1 to 5 mm (0.04
to 0.2 in)) away from the 4th boom section.
3. Evenly tighten the adjustment nuts B (2 points) of
the top boom section extension wire rope until the
top boom section is slightly (1 to 5 mm (0.04 to
0.2 in)) away from the 5th boom section.
