All playlists on the storage medium are now displayed.
> Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight the playlist you want to play and confirm
with OK.
7.21 Playing films
You can use your receiver to play files stored in MPEG format on a device connected to the
USB port or a card inserted into the card reader. The USB devices should be formatted in the
FAT32 file system format.
> Press the blue function key to open the NAV Menu.
> Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight the Film/DVR item and confirm with OK.
> Use the up/down arrow keys to select the source from which you want to play the
film files and confirm with OK.
A list appears showing the film files available on the card/USB device. These are
indicated by the icon . Folders on the card/USB device are indicated by the icon .
> Where applicable, use the up/down arrow buttons first to highlight the folder
containing the film file you want and confirm with OK.
> Use the up/down arrow keys to select the MPEG files from the list that you want to
view and confirm with OK.
The selected film is now played. The message “Play ” appears.
7.21.1 Pausing/Freeze frame
> To pause playback of a recording (freeze frame), press Play / Pause or the Freeze
frame button during playback.
The message “Pause II” appears.
> Press the same button again to resume playback from the same location.
7.21.2 Fast forward/Rewind
Your receiver has fast forward/rewind functions so you can get to a specific place in a film.
> Press the Fast forward or Rewind button during playback.
The message “Fast forward ” or “Rewind !!” appears.
The recording will now play in the specified direction at 4xspeed.
> If you press the Fast forward or Rewind button again, the speed will increase to 16x.
The message “Fast forward ” or “Rewind !!!” appears.
> If you press the Fast forward or Rewind button once again, the speed will increase
to 64x.
The message “Fast forward ” or “Rewind !!!!” appears.
> When you get to the place you want in the recording, you can return to normal playing
mode by pressing the Play / Pause button.
7.21.3 Ending playback
> Press the Stop button to end playback.
Playback will end and your receiver will return to the film navigator.
