Caution:
To enable the new software to be downloaded automatically, the digital
receiver must be in stand-by mode. The download process is indicated by
the message “LoAd”. Do not interrupt this procedure by e.g. switching the
receiver on or off.

HDCP (High bandwidth Digital Content Protection) involves copy protection for digital content
transfer.

This menu item allows you to view specific receiver unit data (e.g. the current software version).
9.7 Encryption system
This menu item will give you access to the installed CI/CI+ module and smartcard submenu
and enable you to call up its data and settings.

> Press the green function key CI Reset to initialise the CI/CI+ module manually.
10 Remote access
To be able to manage e.g. the receiver’s timer remote access functions via the network or
the Internet from a PC, you must first configure this function and create the network/Internet
connection accordingly.
10.1 Calling up the receiver’s HTML page
> Start the Internet browser for the device with which you want to access the receiver’s
HTML page (e.g. a PC).
> Add the receiver’s IP address to the address list.
You can allocate the IP address yourself or read it from the activated DHCP client.
Please note that the IP address must be entered without
leading zeros.

If the IP address has been entered correctly and a connection to the receiver has been made,
the receiver’s login page now appears.
Please note that, to be able to access the receiver’s HTML page as well when the device is
in stand-by mode, the fast start function must be activated.
