9 Changing the basic programming
9.1 Configuring TV/radio lists
This function is required to sort new channels found after a scan into the list, where no
automatic inclusion option has been selected.
To work with this function, you need to know the following: your receiver has a Tota list and
three TV/radio lists. The TV/radio lists include all the channels you have added as described
below. The Total list includes all channels
You can also use this menu to change the channel sequence, delete channels, how you can
block access to them by means of the parental control function, or add them to the EPG.
9.1.1 Accessing the channel list manager
To edit TV/radio lists, proceed as follows:
> Call up the Manage TV lists or Manage Radio lists menu.
TV/Radio list 1 is displayed on the right hand side of the screen. This is now active as
the last channel added to TV/Radio list 1 is highlighted. On the left half of the screen
you will see the alphabetically sorted Total list. This includes all available channels.
9.1.2 Selecting a TV/radio list
> By pressing the green function key TV list/Radio list you can switch from the
Total/Broadcaster list to the TV/Radio list.
> To select another TV/radio list, press the green function key TV list/Radio list again.
A window opens showing the available lists.
> Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight the TV/Radio list to be edited.
> Press the OK key to confirm and the selected TV/radio list is displayed.
9.1.3 Selecting the Total list
> Press the red function key to move the marker to the Total list. This is now active.
> By pressing the red function key Total list again, a selection window is displayed.
Here you have the option of displaying the Total list sorted according to various
selection criteria (e.g. all broadcasters, all free, all new, all found etc) or by provider,
satellite or language.
> Use the up/down arrow keys to select the channel list you want (e.g. languages).
> Confirm with OK.
Another selection window is displayed.
> Now use the up/down arrow keys to highlight the selection criterion by which the
Total list should be sorted.
Select e.g. All English to display only the English-speaking broadcasters.
Note that the display of companies that only broadcast in one language only shows
those that have been found once before in a search.
> Confirm with OK.
The channel list is now displayed according to the selection just made. Channels
already in the TV/radio list are indicated by the relevant Favourites channel slot.
