Replace sorter link chain [7]
Remove tension from sorter link chain and screws [1].
Remove protective cover [2] on both sides.
Run the sorter in maintenance mode until two master links are visible on the chain strand
[6] at a distance of 1371.6 mm (4’ 6”) in the working area.
Loosen screws [3] and remove profile aluminum slat [4] above connecting link [6].
Remove master chain links and profile sorter slats.
Install new sorter profile slats and chain again in reverse order.
Attention: Tension Drive Chain.
The closed side of the master link locking spring [5] must point in the conveying
direction.
Sorter profiles must be aligned in a 90° angle to the framework (see Drive Chain
Adjustments).
