Adjust Conveyor Belt Tension
Tension the conveyor belt
Correct the conveyor belt tension by adjusting tension pulley [2].
Loosen the tension pulley by turning the nut [3] counterclockwise and release all tension
of the belt [1].
With conveyor belt loose [1], mark one line across belt with a carpenter square and
another at a distance of 1000 mm (39-3/8ā) apart.
Tension conveyor belt [1] by turning nut [3] clockwise until a belt tension of about
0.3% (corresponds to 1003mm (39-1/2ā) is achieved between both lines.
PLEASE NOTE: The tension pulley should always be square within the conveyor
frame and tensioned evenly on both sides to guarantee a proper belt alignment
while running.
Ensure proper support gapping for sorter chain tensioning
