Installation of the chain
•
Installation of the sorter link chain in the conveying direction.
• All shoes must be on the divert side.
•
Place the carrying mat (about 1.4 m) (4’ 7-1/8”) (distance between chain master links).
•
Remove the last aluminum slat located over the end of the chain.
•
Pull in the beginning and end of the carrying mat using two ratcheting straps.
• Max. 5 m in length (16’ 4-27/32”).
• Connect the chain to the master link.
•
Reattach the aluminum slat screw tightening torque = 20Nm (14.75Ft/Lbs.).
