23.INTERSECTIONS
The following two types of intersection calculation are available.
Select a suitable intersection type in advance.
Selecting an intersection type: "33.5 Observation Conditions - Other"
Type A
Selectable calculation methods are as follows.
Type B
It is possible to find an intersection point between 2 reference points by specifying the length or azimuth
angle of either point.
This function allows the calculation of a variety of intersection solutions: 1 pt, Azimuth; 2 pt, Angle; 4-point
intersection; 2 Circles; Extend; Divide; Pitch.
• Set instrument station and backsight as necessary.
Setting instrument station/backsight:"13.1 Entering Instrument Station Data and Azimuth Angle"
• EDM setting can be done in the intersections survey menu.
 Setting items: "33.2 Observation Conditions - Dist"
• Pressing {FUNC} in any screen (except input screens) displays the selected intersections type in graphic
diagram.

