7 CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT
Measurement will begin.

After the measurement is completed at the
normal position, press the [TURN] key.
Reverse and turn the telescope and
instrument.

Operate the H/V jog shuttle and collimate
prism center with telescope.

Press the [MEAS] key.
Measured data will be checked inside the
instrument, and the amount of deviation
between vertical and horizontal directions of
the tracking axis is calculated.

Press the [YES] key. Compensation value is
set up and recorded in the instrument.
Return to Main Menu.
•
The display shows “Adjust Axis range Error.(1)” when the calculated compensation value is exceeded
than limited value.
•
If the distance between the instrument and the prism is not enough to adjust, the display shows “Adjust
Axis dist Error.(2)”. The distance between the instrument and prism should be more than 35m.
•
If the difference of the measured data between in normal position and in inverted position is exceeded
than limited value, the display shows “Adjust Axis f/r diff Error.(3)”.
•
If the measuring is unstable when the atmospheric condition is bad or the optical path is interrupted, the
display shows “Adjust VAxis std div Error.(4), Adjust HAxis std div Error.(5)”.
•
To cancel the compensation, press the [EXIT] key.
