7 CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT
7.3.5 Checking/Adjusting the Cross-Hairs on Telescopic/Wide-angle Images

Checking telescopic Image

Level the instrument with the plate level.

With the telescope, collimate target point A,
located at a distance of at least 15 meters.

Check that the telescopic image (magnification
of 4) is displayed. If the cross-hairs are
centered on point A, adjustment is not
necessary. If they are off-center, perform
adjustment as follows.

Adjustment
Prior to adjustment, carry out section 7.3.4“Collimation of the Instrument” .

Press the [ADJUST] key.

Press the [NEXT] key.
