Print Progress Reporting (0-100% Done)
The Epic Edge™ Smart Suite can report the percentage of the document that has been
printed. This information is sent to the host via the periodic status reporting, via a status
ID of 133 (0x85). This information is useful for determining if a usable document has
been created (i.e. where 95% is good enough). See the “% Done Printing” in the
Programmable Automatic Periodic Status section earlier in this Appendix for more
information.
Field Complete Reporting
The Epic Edge™ Smart Suite can report when each field in the ticket layout file has
been printed. This “field done” reporting is broken into two categories, critical fields and
non-critical fields.
To specify a field as critical, make the appropriate entry in the layout file (i.e. Critical = y)
for the field in question:
• To enable the critical field reporting, set a “StatusIDn = 134 ;0x86” in the
initialization file POR.INI.
• To enable the non-critical field reporting, set a “StatusIDn = 135 ;0x87” in
POR.INI.
