The voltage to the motor changes in proportion to required torque which makes the motor
produce more torque at start and when running at low frequencies. Automatic torque boost
can be used in applications where starting torque due to starting friction is high, for example,
in conveyors.
To start with high torque from 0 Hz, set the motor nominal values (Parameter group 2.1)
either automatically or manually.
Setting the motor nominal values with automatic functions
1.
Make identification run (ID631) with rotating motor.
2.
If needed, activate the speed control or U/f optimization (Torque boost).
3.
If needed, activate both the speed control and U/f optimization.
