Adjusting the net
wrapping
V-b el t for the net
drive mechanism
When carrying out regular maintenance, the V-belt tension for the net
roller must be checked.
•
Excessive belt tensioning: The net is drawn in during bale produc-
tion.
•
Low belt tensioning: Net wrapping does not operate.
> Loosening the V-belt-idler pulley.
The V-belt is slack.
> Loosen and remove the screw on the belt pulley.
> Remove the belt pull ey .
> Fit or remove the filling discs between the belt pulley s.
•
Several filling discs: reduced belt tension.
•
Few or no filling discs: high belt tension.
> Refit the belt pulley.
> Fit and tighten the belt pulley screws.
> Tensi on the V-belt -idl er pul l ey .
Net feed roll er
tension
The contact pressure on the net feed roller is provided by two springs.
The spri ngs are l ocated on the left and right of the net feed rol ler and
are secured with a screw . The spring tension for the net rollers can be
changed by moving the screw i n the oval hol e.
> Loosen the screw and the nut.
> Move the screw to the desired position.
> Fit and tighten the screw.
