Adjusting the
OptiCut cutterbar
W ear prot ective gloves
The knives are very sharp. Always wear protective g lov es when hand-
ling the knives. Failing to wear protective glov es can cause serious in-
juries.
Secure the control devices
Secure the control devices on the tractor against unintended actuation
and lock if possible. Unintended actuation of the control device can cau-
se the implement to move unexpectedly and may cause accidents.
W orki ng in the bale chamber
The following conditions must be obse rved for carrying out repairs and
maintenance work and rectifying malfunctions in the bale chamber:
> Empty and open the bale chamber.
> Switch off the tractor's PTO shaft.
> Switch off the tractor engine.
> Switch off the AutoPlus-Pilotbox.
> Take out the ignition key.
> Secure the bale chamber with the ball valve.
Severe accidents can result if the devi ce starts i nadver tentl y.
