Brakes
Lubricating the brake
axle
The brake axl e adjustment must be l ubricated at the start of the sea-
son and ev ery 500 bales. The lubrication points are located on the bra-
ke adjustment in the middle of the axle.
> Lubricate the lubrication point.
Hydraulic
brakes
Hyd ra u l ic s yste m
The hydraul ic sy stem is often overpressuri sed. All pi pes, tubes, cou-
plings and connecting passageways must be checked for leaks and
other damage on a regular basis. Only use suitable tools when
checking for leaks. Repair any damage immediately. Escaping oil can
cause injuri es and burns. Seek medical at tention i mmediatel y if i nju-
ries occur.

Collecting the oil
Leaking oi l must be coll ected and cl eaned up in accordance wi th na-
ti onal r egulati ons. Otherw ise damage may be caused to the envi ron-
ment.
The hydr aul i c brake is connected to a hydrauli c trail er brake valve on
the tractor.
> Loosen the hose connection on the brake cylinder by one revoluti-
on.
> Touch the tractor's brake pedal lightly.
> Repeat this action until no more air is released out of the connec-
tion.
> Tighten the hose connection on the brake cylinder again.
