Driving on the road
General
conditions
The tr ansport positi on must be used for all transport on publi c roads.
The fol l ow ing work steps are descri bed in thi s section:

Bring the implement into transport position.
•
Raise the pick-up equipment.
•
Empty the bale chamber.
•

ment into the
transport position
When tr avell i ng on publ i c roads or w hen stati onar y in the park posi t i -
on, the implement must be in the transport position. The following
steps are necessary to bring the implement into the transport position:
•
Raise the pick-up equipment to the highest position.
•
Empty the bale chamber.
•
Close the rear flap.
Raising the
pick -u p eq ui pm en t
Before road transport, the pick-up equipment must be raised to the
hi ghest positi on.
> Switch the tractor on.
Switch on the AutoPlus-Pilotbox.
> Press the “ON/OFF” button.
> Press the “INFO” button...
> ...until the “Pick-up/Knives” symbol is displayed.
> Raise the pick-up equipment to the highest position with the control
device.
Switch off the AutoPlus-Pilotbox.
> Press the “ON/OFF” button.
> Switch off the tractor and secure it.
> Close the ball valve for the pick-up equipment / knives.
