No bales in the bale chamber
Bal es must not be tr ansported in the bal e chamber. Transporti ng ba-
les will affect the steering, braking capability and driving behaviour of
the tractor. Personnel may be injured or the im plement may be dama-
ged as a result .
Checking the hydraulic connections
Before use, check that all hydraulic connections are correctly connec-
ted to the tractor's single and double-acting control devices. Incorrect-
ly connected hydraulic connections can cause the implement to mov e
unexpectedl y. There i s otherw i se the ri sk of ser i ous or fatal i njury.
Make sure the immediate vicinity is clear
Check the surrounding area of the implement before starting and con-
tinually during operation. Make sure the operator has an adequate
view of the work area. Only begin work if the imm ediate vicinity is clea-
red of any persons or object s. There is otherwise the risk of serious or
fatal injury.
No riding on the impl em ent
Neither personnel nor objects are allowed to be transported on the im-
plemen t at any time. Riding on the implement is hazardous and strictly
prohibited. There is otherwise the risk of serious or fatal injury.
Ensuring road safety
The i mplement must conform to current nati onal traffic regulations if
you i ntend to drive it on publi c roads. Ensure:

Lighting, warning and protective equipment is installed
•
Compliance with the permissible transport widths and weights, ax-
le l oads, ty re l oadbeari ng capaciti es, l aden wei ghts and nati onal
speed restrictions.
•
Compliance with the maximum permissible road transport speed of
40 km/h.
