Hydraulic
connections
Hydr auli c connection at zero pressure only
Only connect hydraulic tubes to the tractor hydraulic system if the trac-
tor and implement hydraulic system is at zero pressure. A pressurised
hydraulic system can trigger unforeseen movements on the imple-
ment and can cause serious damage and injuries. There is otherwise
the ri sk of serious or fatal i njury.
Avoid oil mixtures
If the implement is used on different tractors, an unauthorised oil mix-
ture may occur. Non-allowed oil mixtures can destroy components on
the tractor.
Clean hydraulic system
Remov e any dirt which has entered the hydraulic system. The hydrau-
lic system can b e se riously damaged. Material damage an d injuries to
personnel may be caused.
Check tubes and couplings
Check all hydraulic tubes for damage before connecting them. Check
all hydraulic couplings for firm seating after connecting them. Defecti-
ve hydraulic tubes or incorrectly positioned hydraulic couplings can
cause the implement to move unexpectedly and may cause serious
damage to personnel or the i mplement. T here i s otherw i se the ri sk of
seri ous or fatal i njury.
Secure the control devices
In transport position, secure the control devices on the tractor against
unintended ac tuation and lock if possible. Unintended actuation of the
control device can cause the implement to move unexpectedly and
may cause serious damage to personnel or the implement. There is
otherwise the risk of serious or fatal injury.
Check that the hydraulic tubes are correctly positioned
Ensure that the hydraulic tubes are not caught, pinched or trapped.
Ensure there is ample free space. Hydraulic tubes which are damaged
or entangled with other component s can cause the implement to mov e
unexpectedly and uncontrollably and may cause serious damage to
personnel or the i mplement. Ther e is other wi se the ri sk of serious or
fatal injury.
