Drawbar
Securing moving parts
M oving parts must be secured wit h l i fting gear against sl idi ng, fol ding
or sw i vell ing. Personnel may be injured or the i mpl ement may be da-
maged as a result.
Adjusting the
drawbar
The drawbar and drawbar eye can rotate through 180°. In this way , the
drawbar can be adjusted for a high or low hitch.
The implement must be positioned horizontally:
> Turn the crank anti- cl ockwi se: Move the drawbar upwards.
> Turn the crank clockwi se: Move the drawbar downw ards.
> Check the hei ght of the tractor's draw hook.
> Secure the drawbar against sliding.
> Loosen and remove the screw s and nuts.
> Move the drawbar to the desired position
> Fit and tighten the screws and nuts.

> Remove the safety device preventing sliding.
The arrangement of holes on the implement is provided for height ad-
justment. The drawbar must always be secu red on each s ide with two
screws and nuts.
Trailer ring
A bush i s l ocated on t he trai l er ri ng of the draw bar eye; thi s must be
repl aced when it is visi bl y wor n.
> Before the season and after every 500 bales, the underside of the
trailer ring must be lubricated.
