Safety
Avoid the area to the rear when the bales are being deposited
Remain a safe distance away from the rear area. The bales can caus e
seri ous or fatal i njuries w hen they are deposited.
Deposit the bale on level ground
Always deposit the di scharged bale on a flat surface. Never deposit
the bale on a slope. The deposited bale must not keep m ov ing uncon-
trollably as a result of its weight and ej ection speed. A rolling bale can
result in damage or serious or fatal injuries.
W elding work
Disconnect all electrical connections from the tractor when carrying
out welding on the attached implement. Damage may otherwise be
caused to the electr i cal system.
Fire hazards when welding
When welding, be careful of any fire or com bustion hazards caused by
sprayed metal and sparks. Work aw ay f rom flammable objects or co-
ver them . Seal off any ga ps or chinks. Ensure there is a suit able extin-
guishing device and ch eck the working premises; check them again at
the end of the welding process.
