The tractor's PTO shaft continues turni ng after it has been swit-
ched off
After the tractor's PTO shaft has been unhitched or disconnected the
i mplement continues runni ng due to inerti a. Maintain a safe distance
until the pick-up equipment and all mov ing parts have com e to a com-
plete standstill.
Cornering and turning manoeuvres
Centrifugal forces are in operation when cornering. The implement's
centre of gravity at the rear of the tractor is displaced. Be aware of the
turni ng radius and the moment of i nerti a. A dri vi ng style which i s not
adapted to conditions can cause accidents. The consequence can be
accidents wi th seri ous or fatal i njuri es.
Bale ejection
Stay away from the bale ejection area. There is a risk of crushing. ne-
ver stand behind the implement when a bale is being ejected. Ensure
that no other persons are posit ioned behind the i mplement. T here is
otherwise the risk of serious or fatal injury.
Observe the field conditions
Proceed with the utmost caution on hilly terrain or shifting subsoil.
Keep to both the maximum permissible engine load and the gross
working weight limit. A driving style which is not adap ted to conditions
can cause accidents. The consequence can be accidents with serious
or fatal injuries.
Obstruction by a safety device
If there is a blockage or if a safety device is trig gered, only operate on
the implement after following the instructions below:
•
Switch off the tractor's PTO shaft.
•
Switch off the electronic control system.
•
Switch off the engine and take out the ignition key.
Never try to repair a blockage or a mal functi on on the impl ement ma-
nually during operation. T here i s ot herw i se the r i sk of seri ous or f atal
injury.
