1 Anti-pulling protection plate
Potential errors when measuring cylinders in
anti-pulling protection fittings and problems
when inserting the key from the outer side.
Anti-pulling protection fittings secure
mechanical cylinders against plug pulling by
burglars. blueCompact cylinders do not con-
tain a cylinder core such as those used in
mechanical systems. There is thus no need to
fit anti-pulling protection for the core. The
anti-pulling protection plate can usually be
easily removed from a dismounted fitting.
Your specialist retailer will also inform you of
possible alternatives to the existing anti-
pulling protection fitting.
As a general rule, cylinders which are used in
anti-pulling protection fittings must be meas-
ured dierently. Contact specialist company if
you have problems.

Always include the fitting when measuring
the cylinder dimension.
1. Place try square on the inside fitting.
2. Measure the distance between the try square edge
and the centre of the face plate screw drill hole. Note
down the measured value (B).
3. Place try square on the outer fitting.
4. Measure the distance between the try square edge
and the centre of the face plate screw drill hole. Note
down the measured value (A).

The cylinder's internal (B) and external dimension
(A) have now been measured.

NOTICE!
Increased risk of burglary due to incor-
rect cylinder length.
Select new cylinder, so that the cylinder projects
max. 3 mm from the fitting.
