4.5 Prepare cylinder installation
NOTICE!
Damage caused by face plate screw being
too long.
A face plate screw being too long can
damage or shatter parts of the door, such as
glass components.
– Measure required face plate screw and
shorten with metal saw if necessary
without damaging the face plate screw or
the threaded hole in the cylinder.
NOTICE!
Increased risk of burglary due to incorrect or
incorrectly installed anti-pulling protection
fittings.
Anti-pulling protection fittings secure cylin-
ders against extraction by burglars. Incorrect
or incorrectly installed anti-pulling protection
fittings reduce burglary protection.
– If you intend to install anti-pulling protec-
tion fittings, you need to contact a spe-
cialist dealer beforehand to select the right
anti-pulling protection fitting.
