REP 5.3 PBA SUB - DADF

Removal
WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Disconnect the power cord from the customer
supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or
injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
WARNING
Take care during this procedure. Sharp edges may be present that can cause injury.
CAUTION
Before performing this procedure, refer to General Disassembly Precautions, GP 10.
CAUTION
Ensure that E.S.D. procedures are observed during the removal and installation of the DADF
PWB. Make a visual check to ensure that the pins are fully inserted, without being damaged.
1. Open the MEA unit - cover open, PL 5.10 Item 2.
2. Remove the DADF front cover, refer to REP 5.1.
3. Remove the MEA unit guide duplex, refer to REP 5.1.
4. Remove the guide - M duplex lower, PL 5.12 Item 11.
5. Disconnect all CNs from the PBA SUB - DADF.
6. Remove the PBA SUB - DADF, Figure 1.

Replacement
Replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Remove 2 screws.

Hold the PMO scan
sensor actuator to the
left.

Carefully remove the
PBA SUB - DADF.
