ThecontentsofthisfileareconfiguredbythetraceselectionsontheHISTORYscreen.Thefilecoverstheperiodoftimein8192
equallyspacedtimeincrementsbetweenwhenthehistorylogwasstarteduptoeitherwhenthefileisgeneratedorwhenitwas
previouslystopped.
Thiscontainsthemaximum,averageandminimummeasureddataduringeachprecedingtimeincrement.Unlikedatalogging,thisis
guaranteedtoincludealldatameasuredduringthattimeincrementsoitactuallyhasbettereventcapturecapabilityandextent
recordingcapabilitythanadatalogfileandisconsiderablysmallerandeasiertogenerate,particularlyifmeasurementextentsor
trendanalysisistheintention.
Thesefilesarevariableinlength,canbeupto1.3Mbyteslongandalwayscontains8193records.

Iffurthertracescoveringthesameperiodoftimearewishedtobeexportedinanotherfilethenstopthehistoricalrecord
first,thenrepeatedlyconfigurethedesiredtracesandexportthefileforthosetraces,untilallrequiredtraceshavebeen
exported.

TheXT2640canimportconfigurationorupdatefilesfromadrive.ThisisachievedbypressingtheUSBDriveInfoareawhileadrive
iscorrectlyattached.
ThisinitiatesascreeninwhichyoushouldpresstheIMPORTFILEbuttontoinitiatetheimportfilescreen,andexampleofwhichis
shownbelow.
Therightsideareaofthescreenshowsalistingofthefileswhichmaybeimportedforthefiletypeselectedbythebuttonsontheleft
side(theIMPORTarea).WhichfiletypeisbeingshownisindicatedbytherespectivebuttonintheIMPORTareabeinghighlighted
coloredgreen.TochangethetypeoffilelistedpressthedesiredIMPORTareafiletypebutton.
Thefiles(ifany)arelistedasbuttonsintherightsidearea,witheachbuttonshowingthefilenameandfiledate,ifalargenumberof
filesareavailablethentherearescrollbuttonsshowntoallowyoutoscrollthroughthelist.Toimportafilepressthebuttonforthat
specificfileinthefilelistingarea.Therightsideareaofthescreenthenchangestoindicatetheprogressoftheimport.After
completionyoumaypressanyoftheIMPORTareabuttonstorepeatthis,ormaypresstheEXPORTDATAbuttontoexportafile,or
presstheRETURNbuttontoreturntothescreenwhichwasbeingviewedwhentheUSBDriveInfoareawasinitiallypressed.
