InaccordancewiththerequirementsofEN61000‐4‐7clauses5.1and5.2themeasurementsmadebytheXT2640arecontinuously
checkedbytheXT2640throughouttheassessmentoftheEUTasfollows‐
CurrentOverload:Eachphasecurrentischeckedforbothpeak(i.e.possiblytransitory)andRMS(i.e.probablysignificant)
overloadsduringtheentireassessmentperiod.PeakandRMSoverloadsareseparatelyindicated.
VoltageOverload:Eachphasevoltageischeckedforbothpeak(i.e.possiblytransitory)andRMS(i.e.probablysignificant)
overloadsduringtheentireassessmentperiod.PeakandRMSoverloadsareseparatelyindicated.
Note:
Ifanoverloadisdetectedthenthisisindicatedaspartoftheassessmentbutdoesnotaffecttheindicatedassessedpass/fail
resultoftheEUT.Ifanoverloadisindicatedthenyoushoulddecidewhetherornottoaccepttheassessment.
Recommendation:
Generallyifanoverloadindicationisshownthenthefinalpass/failassessmentoftheEUTshouldbedisregardedandthe
assessmentrepeatedwiththeXT2640currentrangereconfiguredsuchthatnooverloadwilloccur.Ifavoltageoverloadis
shownthenthereissomethingseriouslywrongwiththesupplyvoltageanditshouldbeinvestigated.

ThisisachievedbyusingtheMEASCONFIGscreenasfollows‐

AccesstheMEASCONFIGscreenbypressingtheMEASCONFIGbuttonontherightsideoftheXT2640screen.

PresstheMEASMODEbuttonandselecttheEN61000‐3‐2orEN61000‐3‐12choicesasapplicable.
3.
Configurethechannelswhichyouwishtouseasneeded(seesection12.4.2.1).

NoneoftheMEASUREareabuttonsareusable,theyindicatetheconfigurationformeasurementssuitableforcompliance
testingandtheyarenotchangeable.
