TheMeasurementConfigurationEditcommandsshownbelowhavebeensplitintoseparatesectionsforclarity;allofthecommands
describedinthesesectionsarecontrolledbytheEDITCONFIGandSAVECONFIGcommands.
WhileperforminganinternalDCzeroyoushouldnotsendanyofthesecommandstotheXT2640.
Thesecommandsarecheckedonlyforsyntaxandcompatibilitywiththeinstalledhardware(ifapplicable)wheneachcommandis
receivedandarenotexecutedandtheconsistencyofsettingcombinationsarenotcheckeduntiltheSAVECONFIGcommandisused.
Inthismanneryoumayconfiguremeasurementsusingthesecommandsinanyorderwithouttheneedtoconsiderintermediate
potentiallyincompatiblesettingcombinations.Forthisreason,theCH1toCH4variantsoftheVDEFfieldformatarenotallowedfor
thesecommands.
Ifyouareunsureifthereareanypendingcommandsfromthesesections(e.g.fromapriorsessionwheretheSAVECONFIG
commandwasnotused)thenyoumayusetheEDITCONFIGcommandtoensurethattherearenone(the*RSTor*CLScommand
alsoaccomplishthisandaretherecommendedmethodbutalsoperformotherfunctions).
