TheADJUSTbuttonallowsyoutoselectthatresultsofeachchannelareadjustedtocompensateforeitherthecurrentdrawnbytheV
terminalsorforthevoltagebetweentheAterminals.
Thelabellingofeachselectionshowswhetheryouneedresultsatthesourceorattheload,followed(inbraces)bywhethertheV
terminalsofeachchannelareconnectedatthesourceortheload.
IfyouselectNONEthennoadjustmentsareperformed,theresultsusetheunadjustedvoltageandcurrentsignals.
IfyouselectSRCE(V@SRCE)thentheVterminalcurrentburdenisaddedtotheAsignal.ThisshouldbeusedwhentheV
terminalsaredirectlyconnectedacrossthesourcevoltage(sotheAterminalsaremeasuringtheloadcurrent)andyou
wishtoobtainthesourceresults.
IfyouselectSRCE(V@LOAD)thenAterminalvoltageburdenisaddedtotheVsignal.ThisshouldbeusedwhentheV
terminalsaredirectlyconnectedacrosstheloadvoltage(sotheAterminalsaremeasuringthesourcecurrent)andyou
wishtoobtainthesourceresults.
IfyouselectLOAD(V@SRCE)thentheAterminalvoltageburdenissubtractedfromtheVsignal.Thisshouldbeusedwhen
theVterminalsaredirectlyconnectedacrossthesourcevoltage(sotheAterminalsaremeasuringtheloadcurrent)and
youwishtoobtaintheloadresults.
IfyouselectLOAD(V@LOAD)thentheVterminalcurrentburdenissubtractedfromtheAsignal.Thisshouldbeused
whentheVterminalsaredirectlyconnectedacrosstheloadvoltage(sotheAterminalsaremeasuringthesourcecurrent)
andyouwishtoobtaintheloadresults.
Recommendation:
InmostapplicationsthisshouldbesettoNONE;onlyifnotusingexternalcurrenttransducersandeitheroperatingatlow
voltagesandhighcurrentsorathighvoltagesandlowcurrentsshouldthisbesetforanadjustmenttobeapplied.

TheWIRINGbuttonallowsyoutoselecthowmeasurementsarecombinedandlabelledwhenproducingtotalresultsforthisVPA.
TheselectionmademustmatchthemethodusedtowiretheapplicationtotheXT2640channelsinthisVPA.
Note:
TheavailableselectionsaredeterminedfromthenumberofchannelsselectedinthisVPA.Ifthenumberofchannelsis
alteredthenthissettingwillberesettotheNx1øsetting(whichisvalidforanynumberofchannels).
12.4.2.4.2 SettingHowPowerwillbeInc ludedinEfficiencyandPower Loss
TheEFF/LOSSbuttonallowsyoutoselecthowthetotalpowerofthisVPAisincludedinefficiencyandpowerlossdata.
ThisbuttonisnotavailableifMEASMODEissettoSINGLEVPAorSPECTRUM.
TheXT2640allowsthetotalwattsofaVPAtobeincludedinoneofthreeavailabledata;IN,MIDDLEandOUTpower.Alternatelythe
totalpowerofthisVPAcanbeexcludedfromallthreeofthese.
Note:
IftheXT2640isconfiguredaspartofamulti‐unitgroupthentheresultingIN,MID,OUTpowertotals,powerlossand
efficiencyresultswillincludethetotalIN,MIDandOUTpowermeasurementsfromallXT2640swithinthatmulti‐unit
group.
