3. Exhaust gas control of all cylinders at
once:
• Exhaust gas elements
If out of specification → Measure
the gas from each cylinder in order
to find out the source of error.
NOTE:
The exhaust gas measurement has to be
done with specified speed and without the
top cowling.
4. Exhaust gas measurement by each cyl-
inder:
• Exhaust gas elements
If out of specification → Adjust the
pilot screw.
NOTE:
Find the cylinder(s) with emissions exceed-
ing specifications, then adjust the pilot
screw.
5. Adjust:
• Pilot screw
NOTE:
After the final adjustment re-measure the
emissions as a final ckeck with control
stripe.
For Switzerland
Fill in the results into the official service
document for the periodical exhaust gas
controls, put stamp of your authorized
workshop, date of measurement and do not
forget to sign.
The official control stripe has to be stitched
at the right place into the exhaust gas ser-
vice document.
