Changing engine oil filter
The engine oil filter must be replaced with every oil change.

Place a receptacle underneath the engine oil filter (3).
Clean the outside of the engine oil filter.
Unscrew the filter cartridge using a commercially available tool. Check if the
fastening stud sits firmly in the filter head.
Catch any lubricating oil that runs out.
Clean the sealing surface of the filter holder with a clean lint-free cloth.
Dispose of the filter cartridge according to regulations.
Lightly oil the seal of the new filter cartridge.
Screw the new filter on by hand until the seal is in place.
Tighten the filter to a torque of approx. 10 - 12 Nm.
Perform a test run.
Check the engine oil filter cartridge for leaks.
Danger of engine damage
The engine system is very sensitive and can be damaged
by dirt.
Z Prime the new filter with oil.
