65.01 MIN CORE DIAMETER Set to the minimum core diameter that will be used on the machine.
Example: The machine uses three different cores to run varying
grades of material. The cores are 4" (100 mm), 6" (150 mm), and 8"
(200 mm). MIN CORE DIAMETER must be set to 4” (100 mm). When
the other cores are used, the proper diameter reset selection will set
the diameter to the correct core; see below.
1.00…9999.00 mm
1.00…9999.00 inch
Setting range. 100 = 1 mm
100 = 1 inch
65.02 MAX ROLL DIAMETER Maximum roll diameter that will be used in the machine.
1…99999 mm
1…99999 inch
Setting range. 1 = 1 mm
1 = 1 inch
65.03 DIAMETER RESET Sets or selects the activation signal source for resetting the calculated
diameter.
DI3 Digital input DI3 = 1 resets the diameter to 65.01 MIN CORE
DIAMETER or 65.02 MAX ROLL DIAMETER (depends on if winding
or unwinding).
1
DI3, DI4 Digital input DI3 = 1 and DI4 = 0 resets the diameter as selection DI3.
Digital input DI3 = 0 and DI4 = 1 resets the diameter to 65.04
DIAMETER RESET 2.
Digital input DI3 = 1 and DI4 = 1 resets the diameter to 65.05
DIAMETER RESET 3.

DI5 See selection DI3. 3
DI5, DI6 See selection DI3, DI4. 4
DI9 See selection DI3. 5
DI9, DI10 See selection DI3, DI4. 6
FIELDBUS See selection DI3, DI4. Instead of digital inputs, the command comes
from 06.03 DATASET 1 WORD 3 bits 06 and 07. See chapter Fieldbus
control.
7
DI3 – P65.21 Digital input DI3 = 1 resets the diameter to the value read by the
analog input selected in 65.21 EXT DIA SEL.
8
FBA – P65.21 06.03 DATASET 1 WORD 3 bit 06 = 1 resets the diameter to the value
read by the analog input selected in 65.21 EXT DIA SEL.
9
MASTER DRV Resets the diameter as selection DI3. 10
65.04 DIAMETER RESET 2 Optional value used for diameter reset.
1.0…99999.0 mm
1.0…99999.0 inch
Setting range. 10 = 1 mm
10 = 1 inch
65.05 DIAMETER RESET 3 Optional value used for diameter reset.
1.0…99999.0 mm
1.0…99999.0 inch
Setting range. 10 = 1 mm
10 = 1 inch
65.06 MIN DIA CALC SPD This is used to prevent incorrect diameter calculation at very low motor
speeds (Motor Actual Speed may not be extremely accurate at very
low speeds). This can be set to 0.1% lower than the minimum
operational web speed; which is the lowest speed at which the line
may be operated for more than 1 minute.
1.0…1000.0 m/min
1.0…1000.0 fpm
Setting range. 10 = 1 m/min
10 = 1 fpm
