Air pressure correction
Air pressure effect
A specific amount of change in air pressure will result in a specific change in
a measurement value, depending on the measurement principle employed
by the analyzer module.
Measures to minimize air pressure effect
The air pressure effect be minimized by
• installing a pressure sensor in the analyzer module (this can only be done
at the factory) or
• Entering the current atmospheric pressure as a correction value.
In which analyzer modules is a pressure sensor installed?

Analyzer module Pressure sensor
Limas11 IR, Limas21 UV, Limas21 HW,
Caldos27, Uras26
installed ex works
Magnos206, Magnos28, Magnos27 installed ex works as an option
Caldos25, Fidas24, ZO23 not required
The information as to whether a pressure sensor has been installed in an
analyzer module can be found in the
MENU
→ Diagnosis/Information → System Overview
menu item after selecting the respective analyzer module.
