14.4.1 CURRENT PROBE 5/50 A
AC/DC current clamp probe is an accessory for Multi-Diag Scope, which is
able to measure the electrical current flow up to 50 A (AC and DC), in
frequency range up to 5 kHz.
During current measuring by this current probe, it is not necessary
interrupt the circuit or break the isolation.
Extended measuring jaws allow measurements in tight spaces.
The probe is powered directly from Multi-Diag Scope, so there is no need
to use a battery.
The switch on the current probe is used for switching from 5 A / 50 A
ranges.
More see Chap. Current probe offset zeroing
14.4.2 CURRENT PROBE 500 A
AC/DC current clamp probe is an accessories for Multi-Diag Scope, which
is able to measure the electrical current up to 500 A (DC) /350A (AC), in
frequency range up to 400 Hz.
During current measuring by this current probe, it is not necessary
interrupt the circuit or break the isolation.
The sensor is powered directly from Multi-Diag Scope, so there is no need
to use a battery.
More see Chap. Current probe offset zeroing
CURRENT PROBE OFFSET ZEROING
Offset suppression of AC/DC probe. During this procedure, AC/DC probe must not be connected to any circuit
and AC/DC probe must be closed. By pressing button (see Fig. 94) is offset suppressed. Offset
suppression is recommended to use when small current is measured.
Note:
Current Probes (5/50A and 500A) with reset right on the current probe even when measuring oscilloscope (see Fig.
93).
