14.6 MEASUREMENT ON THE HV COIL SECONDARY WINDING (SINCE SW VERSION 11.0)
The measuring is carried out by means of HV sensors that are connected to HV cables or to the ignition module.
Types of high-voltage sensor and their use in oscilloscope see Chap. I - 14.6.1 and Chap. I - 14.6.4
14.6.1 HV SENSOR N (AT111 4018) + HV REFERENCE CABLE (AT 111 4056)
Option for Multi-Diag Scope
HV probe N is used for measuring of the high voltage on the spark
plugs by fitting the vehicle HV cable see Fig. 101.
During measuring on HV cables, when is required measuring of
flashover voltage, is necessary insert the High-voltage reference
cable between ignition cable and spark plug. At this HV Reference
cable then put HV probe N see Fig. 102
