Place the retroreflector as close as possible to the interferometer assembly
without allowing the two to touch.
9 Mark the positions of the interferometer assembly and retroreflector on
the template with a pencil or piece of tape.
You will later move the optics and will have to return them to the position
you marked.
You are now ready to set up the metrology software.
