Description This command sets the calibration factor for
the instrument from the current attenuation
factor. The filter attenuation is not affected.
The offset is set so that the attenuation factor
becomes zero.

<value>[DB]|MIN|DEF|MAX
Description This command sets the wavelength for the
instrument. The value is used to make the
compensation for the wavelength dependence
of the filter, using the wavelength calibration
data.
NOTE There are two sets of wavelength calibration data, one is made in the
factory, individually, for your instrument. The other is left for the you
to define. Using your own wavelength calibration data, you can use the
attenuator to compensate for the total wavelength dependence of your
hardware configuration.
For more details on this topic, see Selecting the Wavelength
Calibration and Its Function on page 67.
You set the wavelength by sending a value
(default units are meters), or by sending MIN,
DEF or MAX, which specify the minimum,
default and maximum values for the
wavelength.
