Procedure
1. Press LINE to turn the spectrum analyzer off and disconnect the
power cord. Remove the spectrum analyzer cover and reconnect the
power cord.
2. Set up the equipment as illustrated in Figure 3-21 on page 147. Do
not connect the SMA cable to the spectrum analyzer.
3. Move the WR PROT/WR ENA jumper on the A2 controller assembly
to the WR ENA position. The jumper is on the edge of the A2 board
assembly and can be moved without folding the board down.
4. Press
LINE to turn the spectrum analyzer on. On the spectrum
analyzer, press
CONFIG, EXT MXR PRE UNPR (UNPR), AUX CTRL,
EXTERNAL MIXER, AMPTD CORRECT, then CNV LOSS VS FREQ.
5. Press
⇓ or ⇓ to display the conversion loss value for each frequency
listed in Table 3-10 on page 149. Record any conversion loss reading
not equal to 30 dB in Table 3-10 on page 149 at the appropriate
frequency.
