130 Chapter 3
Mode
Adjacent Channel Power—ACP (I&M) Measurement
Mode
Reference Level
Sets the reference level value used for amplitude measurements. The reference level is the
amplitude power (expressed in current Y-axis units) represented by the top graticule line
on the display. Changing the value of the reference level changes the absolute amplitude
level of the top graticule line. The reference level can be set with the step keys, knob, or
numeric keypad.
Auto Range / Elec Atten / Internal preamp
Auto Range, the electronic attenuator and the internal preamp functionality is shared
across all the Modes. See “AMPTD Y Scale” on page 30 for details about how they operate.
Ext Gain
The External Gain feature is shared across all the Modes. See the AMPTD/Y Scale of Meas
Off (Spectrum Analyzer mode) section for details about how it operates.
Scale/Div
Sets the logarithmic units per vertical graticule division on the display.
