Utility and Control/Sweep Functions
User Filename Accesses the Alpha Editor and enables you to enter a filename.
NOTE Uppercase (A-Z), lowercase letters (a-z), and digits (0–9) may appear in
file names. Additionally, file names include a 3-character extension that
is automatically set by the instrument.
If File Exists… Enables you to select the action to take if the analyzer detects the selected
file already exists. You can choose to Overwrite, Append, Prompt, Auto Incr, or Timestamp.
For more information on these functions, refer to the following key descriptions.
Overwrite If the analyzer detects the file name already exists, the existing file will be overwritten
by the new file.
Append If the analyzer detects a Measurement Results Data file of the same name already exists,
the new data will be appended to the end of the existing file data. Append is not applicable to
screens captures, states, or trace data.
