Sample Gas
This list allows you to specify the Sample gas you want to analyze.
Select Gas
Press Enter to move to the listing of Sample gases. Scroll up/down the list
to select the correct Sample gas.
Custom Gas
If you select the Custom Gas selection and press Enter, you will be
prompted to enter a Gas K Factor. The Gas K Factor is a parameter used
by the Flow Meter in the 3050-RM to adjust for the molar heat capacities of
dierent gases. Nitrogen is used as the Reference gas for the K factors, and
its value is dened as 1.000. To estimate the K factor for another gas, take
the ratio of the molar heat capacity (constant pressure) of nitrogen to that
of the sample gas. For example, the K factor of argon would be estimated
as follows:
