Chapter 3: Status Display
The top lines of the phone display shows information about you and your phone. For example:
• The top line shows the date and time plus various status icons.
• The next line shows information about the call/feature on the currently selected (outlined in
white) button or your own extension/name if the button idle/unprogrammed. It can also display
various status letter on the right-hand side.

Status Icons
The top lines of the display can include the following icons:
•
Bluetooth Enabled – The 9641 can support a Bluetooth headset. See Using Bluetooth
Headsets on page 116.
•
or Muted – This icon indicates that the your connection to the current call is muted. You
can hear the caller but they cannot hear you.
• or Ringer Off – This icon indicates that your phone has its ringer turned off. See Ringer
Off Button on page 155.
•
or Missed Calls – This icon indicates that you have had missed calls. The number next
to the icon indicates the number of different callers. Pressing the button opens your call log at
the missed calls display. See

Status Letters
The top lines of the display can include the following status letters. These letter may appear as a
group of letters, for example OG or NG.
