Setting the ODUspe Polarization
Antenna polarization, V or H, is determined by the orientation of the ODU. It is set
for vertical polarization when the “V” mark on the ODUspe casting is at the top. See
Figure 3-3. The ODU connector must be facing down. Never instal the ODUspe with
the connectors facing up.

Figure 3-4 shows the ODUspe set for horizontal polarization, with the “H” mark on
the ODUspe casting at the top. Note that there are two “H” marks, meaning the
connectors can be set to face left or right as viewed from the rear.

ODUspe Attachment Procedure
