Chapter 3. Eclipse Edge Installation
Ensure the cable connector assembly and the ODU connector
are completely dry before wrapping.
Wrapping Instructions for ODU Connector
Before commencing, remove the dust caps from the ODU RJ-45 connector and from
the ODU cable connector.
1. Cut two butyl tape strips about 5 mm wide and 150 mm long.
2. Mold the first strip between the connector and ODU body making sure to go
behind the dust cap post - between the dust cap ring/post and the ODU body. See
below.
