3. Mold the second strip to the first strip but this time ensure the strip goes over the
top of the dust cap post.
4. Beginning at the butyl strips (not over the strips), wrap a layer of vinyl tape with
a minimum 50% overlay to a point just past the connector body and onto the ODU
cable sheath. This layer is allow easy strip-back of the weather protection for
connector disconnection.
