4.1.2 Front cover
Disassembly:
• Picture 1 - Remove left and right screw covers a
from the base plate cover. Untighten fastening
screws b (T10M3 X 8).
Note:
Move base plate cover to front as far as long holes allow.
This makes it easier to remove and refit the front and rear
covers.
• Picture 2 - Pull handwheel out. Remove locking
ring via bayonet lock.
• Picture3 - Remove fastening screw and washer c
(T10 M3 X 10) at the very bottom of the machine -
the one that holds front and rear cover together.
Note:
Engage feed-dog drop in order to ease removal of the
front cover.

• Picture 4 - Using a Allen key T20, slightly
untighten fastening screw d on stitching head -
the screw that holds the front cover and rear cover
together.
• Picture 5 - Remove slide-on table anchoring screw
e (T15).
