FREE Installation - To arrange to have your new MFC9420CN (ONLY) installed by a professional
Service Technician, free of charge*#, please call 0800 MFC INSTALL (0800 632 467) and speak
to our friendly staff. If such an installation service is surplus to your needs similar assistance can
be provided over the telephone on this same number.
* The installation is such that it covers:
- The unpacking, assembly and connection of the MFC9420CN via a local (USB or Parallel)
connection to a single computer, power and telephone as desired;
- Basic, as indicated in the Quick Setup Guide, software and device driver installation;
- Basic, as indicated in the Quick Setup Guide, programming of the MFC9420CN's User
Settings.
# The installation does not cover:
- Travel for more than 30kms from the Service Technician's workshop;
- A network wide installation. In such environments a single computer installation can be
covered but the presence of a designated IT Professional Network Systems Administrator
is required, such a person should then also facilitate any further network installation
requirements;
- Repairing or troubleshooting Computer or Operating System issues (such as the
download and/or installation of patches, updates or Service Packs);
- Providing required cabling (or other items) not listed on the MFC9420CN's Packing List;
- Advanced programming of the MFC9420CN beyond simple guidance as would be
imparted in the course of following a standard setup process (such as entering a complete
One Touch and Speed Dial list).
Repair - For warranty service for your Brother Product you will need evidence of original purchase
(e.g. a copy of the sales docket).
