1.2.25 Write Serial No
Reads firmware version through serial transmission (RS-232C) to write serial number into the
machine. For TD-2100N, this inspection also checks the communication interface with
Bluetooth option (PA-BI-001).
(1) Disconnect the USB cable from the machine. Connect the RS-232C cable and PA-SCA-
001, and connect it to the machine.
(2) Make sure that the "Write serial no" field is highlighted in yellow and press the [Run]
button to start the inspection.

(3) It starts reading firmware version from the machine, and writes serial number into the
machine. Once the process is completed, serial number appears in the "Results" field on
the main screen.

(4) Check the serial number and press the [To next check] button.
Procedures for this serviceman tool ends here. Turn OFF the machine to finish inspection.
